Or they saw how important your services were to the company and decided to hire an in-house staff memeber to do what you were doing for far less money. After all, the marjority of people are still looking for a regular paid gig without the hassle of being a business owner.

I’ve had this happen to me a few times. Just last week someone contacted me and asked if I could come in to train the full-time hire and share my skills with him.

I politely declined!
